To celebrate our dear friend Margery's birthday, we stayed in a beautiful villa in Montepulciano, a town renowned for its charm and exquisite wine. We welcomed friends with a picturesque antipasto picnic set against sweeping views of the Tuscan countryside. The picnic was followed by a delicious pasta feast, inspired by this recipe: Spaghetti alla Chitarra with Figs, Peppers, and Walnuts. Of course, an abundance of pasta and wine was enjoyed throughout our stay.

Beyond the villa, we embraced the Tuscan lifestyle with activities like horseback riding through nature, dining at remarkable restaurants, and soaking in the region's rich culture and beauty. Every moment was filled with laughter, love, and the simple pleasures of life well celebrated.
